Current information about the guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the Valavier Active Resort.
Our employees are tested for COVID-19 every week and we can bear the label “Sichere Gastfreundschaft”.
With the governmental decision from 14 September which requires everyone in hotels to wear a mask, you, our dear guests, need to use a mask in all public areas during your stay. Our employees also wear a mask.
All our pools are open for you but we ask you to mind the minimum distance. There is a limit of guests who can use the indoor pool at the same time. We take the liberty to point this out on signs in the public areas.
You are free to use the Swiss pine sauna, the hay sauna as well as the sea salt cabin and the bio sauna. Due to the current situation we take the liberty to inform you about the maximum number of people allowed in the individual areas with signs at the entrances.
We arrange our relaxation facilities in a way that we can ensure everyone to keep the minimum distance and the possibility to use a lounger. We kindly ask you to mind the minimum distance at your own responsibility.
All treatments listed in our spa brochure can be offered. Our employees wear a mask for your protection.
Our gym can be used without limit. We take care of all hygiene precautions to ensure you a workout which is as safe as possible. Nevertheless we kindly ask you to keep the prescribed minimum distance to other guests.
All areas of our restaurant are open to you as usual and we look forward to welcoming you. Despite new conditions we can promise you that the culinary journey in our house takes places unchanged. We offer you our rich theme buffets as usual. We have disinfection dispensers and disposable gloves for your protection. You will find disinfectant dispensers for your hands at all entrances to our restaurants.
All foods and drinks must be consumed on a seat – in the restaurant and at the hotel bar. Standing receptions are unfortunately not possible at the moment.
Our pantry is open for you. You can purchase our homemade products as usual. Tastings, however, cannot take place and the number of persons is limited to 2 guests in the room.
According to the regulations we can keep these areas open until 1.00 am.
Child care at the Valavier Active Resort will also take place this autumn at specific times. For the security of our guests we guarantee the highest hygiene standards.
Even this winter and summer, we endeavour to offer you an unforgettable stay here with us at the Valavier Active Resort. We have hired a hiking guide “our Martha” for you who will enable you to safely discover the mountain world.
A large part of the trails is in the near vicinity and we offer you high-quality e-mountain bikes for rent. If you want to try the feeling of riding an e-bike we offer one to you for a fee of EUR 10.00.
The Bergbahnen Brandnertal are operating again.
All our rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to the highest hygiene standards before your arrival. Surfaces in the public areas (door handles, lifts or also shelves are thoroughly disinfected according to a protocol. We provide enough dispensers for hand disinfection in all public areas in the whole hotel. Bed linens and towels are cleaned according to the requirements.
We can offer you the following instant measure: The Red Cross will organise flexible mobile teams which regularly come to the village in consultation with the local head of tourism to offer the guests a PCR test (with costs) on site. Therefore, you will not have to organise yourself to get tested. We will do the registration for you and send your data in compliance with the data protection standards to the Red Cross. The Red Cross will collect all data and inform us about a time and place. We will then inform you. The test result will be sent to you as fast as possible by e-mail or, if you wish, printed out for you at the reception. The registration for all tests must take place 48 hours in advance.
Travel warnings are no reason for a cancellation that is free of charge. Neither for guests who are currently in our region nor for those who will come to us.
