Opening times for the Brandnertal mountain railways:
During the season, the main gondola lifts run daily from 08:30 to 16:30.

Information on the 2026/27 winter season

From the 2026/27 winter season onwards, cable cars of Brandnertal will only offer its own products for the Brandnertal valley as part of its multi-day tickets.

The WildPass multi-day tickets – including the Multi-Day WildPass, Sun WildPass and Leisure WildPass – will no longer be valid in the Brandnertal from winter 2026/27 onwards.

For season and annual pass holders, nothing will change: these passes will continue to be valid in both the Montafon and the Brandnertal.

Anyone wishing to actively explore the impressive Rätikon mountain range will find ideal conditions in the Brandnertal valley whatever the season – whether on around 400 kilometres of hiking trails, in the bike park or on 64.4 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes. To help you plan your days out in the great outdoors, we’ve summarised the key facts about the cabel cars of Brandnertal for you:

Altitude: 890 m to 2,000 m above sea level
Main lifts in the village: Dorfbahn, Palüdbahn, Panoramabahn, Loischkopfbahn
Winter activities: 64.4 kilometres of slopes, 15 modern lifts and cable cars
Summer activities: 400+ km of hiking trails, Brandnertal Bike Park, Lünerseebahn
Opening times & season: The regional ski lifts (such as the Dorfbahn directly opposite the Hotel VALAVIER, the Palüdbahn or the Lünerseebahn) will take you up the mountain reliably during the respective seasons, from spring to late autumn as well as in winter. Daily operating hours are usually between 08:30 and 16:30 (subject to change depending on the season and weather conditions).
Fares & Prices: Ticket prices vary depending on the sport, validity period and age group.

From your bed straight onto the slopes or up to the Sonnenberg: the Brandnertal mountain railways take you from the VALAVIER in the blink of an eye right into the heart of stunning slopes and glistening worlds of powder snow.

You can board the lift right opposite the hotel and, via footpath 64.4, reach 64.4 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes. Enjoy perfectly carved turns, wide family runs, slopes with plenty of deep snow or peaceful winter walking trails at over 1,000 metres above sea level. Hop on, take off and experience the pure winter feeling in the Vorarlberg mountains – then relax straight away in our wellness area after your final turn.
