Our à la carte restaurant is a place far away from everything and yet very close to the latest developments of international enjoyment and indulgence culture. This has always been this way and is more than ever valid today. Already Mina, the grandmother of Edi Meyer, brought gastronomic tips and recipes from all corners of the k.u.k. monarchy to our small valley.

At the Valavier, cuisine literally means cooking as a handicraft and as an art. The art of flattering the palate and satisfying the stomach. This requires a special attentiveness and years of experience: from the purchase of the products to serving the meals. The satisfying meal and the “good food” have always been the heart of our success story.

From the small inn “Jägerheim” to today’s Valavier, a 4-star-S active resort. Using all possibilities of the modern cuisine and yet buy sustainably and prepare sustainably. These are the aspirations of an à la carte restaurant in the 21st century. Because: you also eat with your conscience. Making decisions which feel right is not possible without self-responsibility.

Especially when it comes to selecting our products and food culture: Shopping in the region is worthwhile for everyone and makes us more independent. But also ideas and ingredients from other parts of the world – from fair production and used with conscience – make our cuisine so much richer.
